How to use a template to start a new page & how to add in anchor tags to jump to specific locations on a page

Text instructions

  • Add a new page.
  • Enter a heading name.
  • Select Backend Editor if not already selected.
  • Click on Templates.
  • Select the template you want to insert.
  • Click on the plus icon.
  • The template will now appear on the page.
  • Click on each row and add in a unique ID for that row.
  • Continue editing the text content as required.

Referencing rows

When adding anchor tags to jump to other parts of the page or other parts of the site, make sure that each row has it’s own unique ID. When entering ID’s in each row use characters that will describe that row e.g. venuename-coursename-month-age-group. You can leave out the dashes but don’t use any characters other than numbers or letters.

Update: Visual Composer is now called WPBakery.
